What we keep
Your account
First name, last name, email address and language; phone and address only if you add them.
If you continue with Google
Google sends us your name, your email address, your photo and your account identifier. We keep the name, the address and the identifier for your account and sign-in, and the address of your photo to display it (you can remove it); never your Google password.
Your children's profiles
On your account: a first name or a nickname, the grade, the stream — and what happens there: reading, quiz and exercise answers, favourites, plan.
Account security
The IP address and browser of each sign-in, erased after 90 days.
Counting visits
Anonymous, with no IP address and no account: the pages read, the region and the type of device.
What we use it for
- Running your account
- Showing you your children's progress
- Protecting accounts
- Improving the lessons
🚫 Your data is used only for these four things, never for advertising.
Who sees it
- We do not share your data with any third party.
- Technical providers help us run the site: hosting and emails.
- Cookies: those for the site language and for signing in to your account, and security cookies.
How it is protected
- Encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site
- Passwords protected by hashing: unreadable to anyone, including us
- Your children's devices open only with your consent (QR code)
- Access to the data is reserved to Madrassati
How long
Your account and what it holds: as long as it exists.
IP addresses, browsers and email addresses entered for a code or a sign-in: 90 days.
After a deletion request: 30 days to change your mind, then everything is erased.
